We are delighted to announce that, as of August 2026, the Future of Being Human initiative will be affiliated with the ASU. Thunderbird School of Global Management. This comes on the heels of the initiative’s Director Andrew Maynard and Executive Director Sean Leahy moving to Thunderbird.
More details of the move and what this will mean for the Future of Being Human initiative will be forthcoming. However, we are anticipating building on the past four years of foundational work to develop new approaches to reimagining global leadership in an age of AI and other transformative technologies, and to developing the skills necessary to thrive in a future that marks a critical inflection point from the past.
This will draw substantively on our focus on what it means to be human in a technologically complex future, our philosophy of thinking enmeshed with practice that has impact, and our guiding principles — including being driven by obsessive curiosity, respectful inclusivity, radical creativity, grounded exubrence, and catalytic serendipity.
